Today we were visited by sofology and Neil the sloth! They brought special prizes to the winners of their Christmas sofa competition – well done to our James Havard for winning Year 6’s prize.
One more week to go!!! Next week the children will be enjoying a week of STEM activities, where they will be able to learn hands on.
Can anyone find me a new word of the week with its meaning?
5 dojos to the first person to comment.
The children were this afternoon introduced to the Posada figures we have had in school this week. Unfortunately being last, we didn’t have enough time to properly delve into their meaning and culture – but what we did manage to find out was very interesting (especially judging by the gleeful faces in the background).
Next week the children will be practicing hard for our Christmas performance.
In English we will be writing some Christmas poetry.
In maths Mrs Jones will teaching the Singapore bar model, which should be something a bit different for the children and should hopefully help them if they’re struggling.
