Today Year 6 have had an afternoon of netball and basketball. They have learnt all the positions in netball and the importance of possession in basketball.
Next week, the children will be doing narratives in English.
They will be doing what a human body looks like in science.
In maths the children will be looking at fractions.
Today we came up with three things we were grateful for about trees, then three things we were grateful for about our friends and three things we were grateful for about ourselves. The children then discussed how we need to be grateful for things around us, the people around us and for ourself. However, as long as we are grateful for all those things, we shouldn’t be bothered about what other people think about us.
